Golden Horseshoe Holiday Show

Happy New Year, Readers!

I hope you all had a restful holiday. Just a quick little post for those still braving the crowds at the parks.

The Holiday Festivities end on January 8th, so if you're in the parks, looking for a place to eat with a little respite from the madness, I highly recommend the Golden Horseshoe.  Many, shall we say, less aware fans don't tend to make use of its decent quick service menu, and nice ambience. It so honestly harkens back to a more 1955 based Disneyland (even with the few people attempting to utilize the power outlets to charge their phones).

Personally, I prefer to get a spot on the balcony.  It's quieter up there and gives you a great view of the Golden Horseshoe Show (It's not technically the review anymore...).  The show runs continuously-ish, and I'll check back in the non-holiday season to see if it goes back to alternating between the two shows, so you can come in anytime and stay as long as you like (within reason).

Anyway, the show is always good, but I happened onto the show while I was collecting a bit of content, and they decided to do "A Christmas Carol" for the holiday season.  What a nice holiday gem it was! A very good time, so see it in the last few days, if you can.

If not, do it the first day next year! Or this year....next Christmas....you know what I mean!

As with the non-seasonal show, audience participation is required. This nice gentleman was a good sport and led to some great ad libs from the Golden Horseshoe cast.  But if you're sitting up front and don't like to be part of it, just fair warning.

Everyone, have a good week! We'll talk soon! With the holidays winding down, let's see what 2017 holds for the Disneyland Resort.
