Frolics with Fred: Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas Eve, Friends!

I hope you all are having a happy holiday! I just wanted to send my best wishes to everyone from a world just my size...Small World!

We usually leave cookies and milk for Santa...and some carrots for the reindeer....but I hold out one or two for myself.

Anyway, have a restful and fun holiday!

Love, Fred 🐰

P.S. Tomorrow is also the start of Hannukah so to my Jewish readers (and Mariah's too) have a Happy Hannukah!

Gadgets & Gizmos Aplenty: Last Minute Christmas

Hello, Everyone!

I like to showcase little Disney products you might enjoy and perhaps didn't see.  This will be a small post, but hopefully helpful as you wrap up holiday shopping.

In the Emporium, I found this FANTASTIC little set from Mickey's Christmas Carol.  It's just so cute and simple.

Now, this little ornament Minnie is holding, is part of a group released this year in comparable size for your own tree, in about a dozen characters (including Robin Hood!).  However, to further compliment the set, Disney released these plush characters holding the ornaments. Oh, I nearly died.  I'm such a girl...if it's cute, I lose my mind.

Now, a little surprise, I was walking through Elias & Co. and came upon this little beauty.  This is Ortensia, girlfriend (or female protagonist) to Oswald the Lucy Rabbit.  They have long had a plush of him, but adding her in is a great idea.  For the fans of pie-eyed characters, run, don't walk.

And, that's it for now.  See you all next time. I think Fred's working on something....he never tells me.

A Christmas Fantasy Parade Photo Buffet!

Happy Christmas Week, Everyone!

I hope you all aren't too stressed out. To take a little breather, I'm mostly going to let my pictures speak for themselves.

Tip: A great place to sit for the parade is front of the firehouse and Walt's apartment, but not directly in front of it. You get a nice wide berth to see the parade as it comes around the corner.

So, as you can tell from the title, we're going to see the fantastic A Christmas Fantasy Parade!

Didn't they have Duffy up here for a year or two? No offense to him, but I love this guy better. So cuddly!

Ok, so I overdid it on the Tin Soldiers, but they're so awesome!

Since Anna and Elsa kicked Mickey and Minnie off the ice pond float, Mr. and Ms. Mouse ended up on the float that used to belong to Mrs. Claus.

They got sent BACK to the mailroom? Oh, come on, Mickey! Go call Human Resources!

Donald Duck, Chip and Dale join them in what must be a tough job.

I love these little round snowmen! Disneyland Merchandise? Ya hear me? These guys! Sell THEM!

I have a mild obsession with this fella. I just LOVE his generic Disney hat.  Where did he get it? I feel like it's from Walt Disney World in the mid-90s. Just a feeling, I promise!

Who used to ride in the sleds before? I'll have to check.

 Poor Eeyore!

But he's dressed for the season! (Sorry for the butt shot, Eeyore.)

More trees!!!!!!! I just love these tree floats. They're just randomly going along, like Cousin Itt from the Addams Family.

Anna and Elsa.....you evicted Mickey and Minnie from their ice skating! How dare you!

OK, now it's my Mom's favorite part....

Gingerbread men!

I think the best thing about them is how they're flat and crispy in the back. Nice Disney detail.

Don't get me wrong, I love Pluto, but I miss Max being in the parade. Christmas is a time for family....and Pluto belongs to Mickey anyway! A dog can't have a dog for a pet! It's weird!

Oh no.  Who invited them?

It was hard to get a good shot of the dancers and princesses, but they're so lovely, I had to try.
Can't we actually have a ball like this?

Nice to get a little Tiana and Naveen in there.

Ariel's hairstylist needs to call me.

Jessie, taking over for Chip & Dale. But it's a good fit.

Woody and Buzz have interesting lighting RIGHT in their faces.  Not sure what's up with that?

There's a snake in my boots!

 AND....SANTA!!!!!!

I should ask Fred if he's related to these little guys.

And, that's it for today.  I'll do my best to keep up with you all during your last holiday errands.  Have a happy week, and stay safe out there!
