Frolics with Fred: Friends and Popcorn

Hello, Bunny Lovers!

It's the last weekend of the Holidays at Disneyland...so I went to visit my friend Mickey. You know, he's a good friend of mine.

I was near Small World and I happened to run into him! I said, "Hey, Mick!" and came over to give him a hug...he wouldn't talk to me! I thought, "Someone's fame has gone to his head!"

And that's when I realized..........it was a popcorn bucket of Mickey...Not the actual Mickey.

I guess carrots aren't actually all that good for your eyesight...

Anyway, this is the last weekend you can get the popcorn Mickey so....go get him! He's not the real thing, but the real thing doesn't dispense popcorn either.

Frolics with Fred: Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas Eve, Friends! 

I hope you all are having a happy holiday! I just wanted to send my best wishes to everyone from a world just my size...Small World! 

We usually leave cookies and milk for Santa...and some carrots for the reindeer....but I hold out one or two for myself.

Frolics with Fred: Holiday Security

Dear Readers,

Hi, Everyone! Fred here!

Man, sometimes I'm so grateful to be in the Disneyland Parks...mostly because security is tough. Even when you're a bunny rabbit!

I can't even use my striking good looks anymore! Being 25...well, I'm not as white and fluffy as I used to be.  And my mint green bow...well,...let's not talk about that! I'm distinguished now.

The other day, we came into the parks, and the security who searched Mariah's backpack, Armando, gave us BOTH a funny look.

What's the matter, buddy? You never seen a bunny in a backpack before?

People, these days.

Anyway, go look at all the fun stuff we did! Have a Happy Hoppy week!

Frolics with Fred: #ThrowbackThursday to the Walt Disney Family Museum

Hello, Disney geeks!

Since it's Thursday, I thought I'd throw it back for you.  A couple of years ago (on Labor Day weekend), Mariah, her mom and I went to San Francisco to the Walt Disney Family Museum to see the Mary Blair exhibit. I think Mary would have liked drawing me, I'm so darn cute.

Here I am in front of the museum. Pretty nice, huh? I'd love to go back...I should really bug Mariah about that. She can't resist my cute little face, either.

Anyone wanna see my friend I met inside the exhibit? If I get a few comments, I might be so obliged!

Frolics with Fred: Sneaky Peeking

Hi, Everyone!

So....I was hopping past Thunder Mountain...heading to my favorite BBQ spot....and...well.....

..............Did you all know it's closed?!

I know! I was hopping mad!

There were all these walls up. Something about wars and stars, I don't know....lotta people saying a lotta stuff.....

I tried to take a peek through the hole in this wall.  It was just rabbit sized.  Mariah gave me a boost. 

Anyone know anything? Mariah wouldn't tell me...

Anyone wanna recommend something a rabbit should do at Disneyland? Comment and let me know!

Frolics with Fred: The Circle of Carrots

Hello, everyone!

Well, isn't this an interesting turn of events...

I went with Mariah to the Plaza Inn last week for a nice breakfast (have you tried their carrot cake?), and to meet my brethren.  Yes, I call the characters my brethren.

Anyway, I went to say Hello to Rafiki and apparently....well..that is to say...Long story short, he snatched me up and christened me the new King of the Jungle!

I was presented to all the kingdom (room full of hungry people), and anointed, as per tradition. I must say, I was a little terrified, being up so high.  And Rafiki is a little...kooky? Then, I suddenly realized what was happening...I shall be King! (I hope Simba's ok with sharing.)

Here is (blurry) proof, for all you naysayers.  I'm lookin' at you, Scar!

That day gave me a great lesson....you can be anything you want to be...or something you didn't even ask for!

So, while I'm looking for a mane made out of leaves....have a great weekend!

Now, listen, I don't know what I did in ToonTown that landed me in jail, but I think it's just a matter of paperwork and I'll be back out in the world...

They seem to have a loose definition of "dog" here in Mickey's ToonTown....

I mean, seriously, the Weasels didn't even give me my one phone call!
